The Oscar winning actor passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2014 of an apparent drug overdose. His body was discovered in his Manhattan apartment. The New York Police Department has yet to release any details pertaining to his death.
Known for his roles in The Master, Capote, and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Philip Seymour Hoffman is survived by Mimi O'Donnell and their children, Tellulah, Willa, and Cooper.
He was 46 years old.
