71st Annual Golden Globes Red Carpet Fashion

It's that time of year again, award season, and last night at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, watching the celebrity red carpet arrivals was the place to be!

Like many folks, we just wanted to see what our favorite celebrities in film and television were wearing.

So without further ado, lets take a look at the fashion hits and misses from the Golden Globes award show!

Sofia Vergara, a Golden Globes nominee, definitely dressed to impress in her voluptuous Zac Posen gown. The pop of color from her necklace was the perfect touch to her ensemble.

I loved it!

Nominated for her role in "12 Years a Slave" actress Lupita Nyong'o was absolutely stunning in this crimson red cape creation by Ralph Lauren.

In my opinion, best dressed star of the evening!

Presenter Reese Witherspoon dressed to perfection in this slinky, t-back gown by Calvin Klein.

She looked gorgeous and was definitely one of my favorites on the red carpet!

Not to be out numbered by the ladies, Leonardo DiCaprio, nominated for Best Actor in a Motion Picture - Musical or Comedy for "Wolf of Wall Street" looked dapper in a classic black tuxedo.

Ooh...la...la!

Now dashing Bradley Cooper definitely turned heads in his Tom Ford suit and makes him, in my book, the Best Dressed Man of the evening!

Presenter Chris Pine looked handsome in a dark suit and facial hair. Very nicely done!

Always a fashionista, Cate Blanchett's black lace Armani Coutoure gown with its mermaid bottom and bare back was another one of my favorites.

Absolutely beautiful!

"Wolf of Wall Street" actress Margot Robbie looked like a goddess in her plunging Gucci gown with crystal details proving less is definitely more!

I love that "Modern Family" actress Sarah Hyland showed up in a salmon color gown and mermaid braids. Taking risks on the red carpet can be tricky, but I have to say, Sarah pulled it off.

Her ensemble looks age appropriate and effortless.

There's nothing I can say about Naomi Watts in Tom Ford except - wow!

Now Emma Watson's Christian Dior dress...definitely a fashion risk with the opening in the back and the pants, but it totally works for her.

If it was anyone else, maybe not, but on Emma I love it!

Not to mention, the color looks beautiful against her complexion and her hair and make-up was perfect.

Lovely actresses Drew Barrymore, Olivia Wilde, and Kerry Washington were all a glow and turning heads on the red carpet.

Drew opted for a floral number by designer Monique Lhuillier while Olivia chose a shimmering emerald Gucci gown. Kerry, on the other hand, wore a pale green Balenciaga gown.

Honestly, maternity wear never looked so good!

Okay, so what do I think of "American Hustle" Jennifer Lawrence's Dior gown? It was interesting that's for sure.

And depending on the angle, I did think Jennifer looked amazing, but from other angles, it just looked bulky and uncomfortable. Like she's wearing a bed sheet and holding it up with two black strings.

As the face of Dior, Jennifer had so many beautiful gowns to choose from so why this one?

With the "wow" factor missing from this stark white creation perhaps she'll find redemption at the SAG Awards.

Sandra Bullock's Prabal Gurung asymmetrical satin gown fizzled on the red carpet. Just didn't love it.

Amy Adams...she usually stuns on the red carpet, but failed with this red and burgundy gown.

It was too bare for my liking. Should have kept the cape on. Sorry.

Julia Roberts, star of "August: Osage County"  mixed-match Dolce & Gabbana gown just didn't do it for me.

I love a classic, white oxford shirt, but not attached to a one-of-a-kind gown for a red carpet event.

Julia's vintage Valentino gown from the 2001 Oscars was memorable.

This dress, not so much.

It appears that "Nurse Jackie" Edie Falco was trying to channel Nicole Kidman's Balenciaga gown from the 2007 Oscars and missed the mark with this hot mess!

Love the color, but the ill-fitted dress does nothing for her.

Orland Bloom...I don't know. He may be in a suit and tie, but his disheveled appearance leave little to be desired.

"Girls" Lena Dunham's yellow canary Zac Posen dress is gorgeous, but doesn't impress. The fitting is off and doesn't reflect Lena's personality.

"Big Bang Theory" Kaley Cuoco in Ronnie Zekem.

What was she thinking?

Such a lovely actress yet for red carpet events, I find her gown choices to be less than stellar.

And this floral print creation, once again, proves my point. The colors against her skin tone completely washes her out and the hair and make-up just doesn't thrill me.

We saw plenty of Tom Ford's creations on the Golden Globes red carpet, but "Nashville" star Hayden Panettiere's gown is my least favorite.

From the hair, to the broach, and the office heels Hayden's black and white ensemble just didn't dazzle.

When it comes to "Orange is the New Black" Taylor Schilling's gown, I love the color and style, but am not too crazy about the lace top and spaghetti straps.

It reminds me of a nightgown that belongs in the bedroom instead of at an awards show.

Actress Paula Patton's (aka Mrs. Robin Thicke) Stephane Rolland Coutoure gown was a major red carpet disaster!

Paula's body was amazing, but in this dress, the large ruffle completely covers her up and makes her look lopsided.

Definitely worst dressed at the Golden Globes!
