While Miley Cyrus remains stateside recording a new album, Liam is back in his native Australia enjoying his vacation and visiting family.
He was recently spotted boogie-boarding with friends and providing plenty of eye candy on the beach while on-lookers continue to speculate on the current status of his engagement to the former Hannah Montana star.
Miley may insist that everything is fine, but every time she gets caught/photographed sans her engagement ring I can't help but think she's a walking contradiction.
