Little 5 year old Miles, who has leukemia, dreams of becoming Batkid came true in a very big way today. He arrived in Gotham City in a sleek Batmobile after being summoned by San Francisco's Police chief Greg Suhr for help.
Thousands of onlookers flooded the streets to see the little superhero in action, fighting crime alongside Gotham's own Batman.
Mile's day of heroics started off with a damsel-in-distress rescue.
Shortly thereafter, Batkid foiled an attempted robbery by the Riddler. Once he was contained, Batkid went on to free Lou Seal, the SF Giants mascot who was tied up inside AT&T Park from the evil clutches of the Penguin.
Clearly, the bad guys were no match for Batkid.
Gotham City was safe once again. Batkid then rode off into the sunset towards City Hall where he was presented with a key to the city from Chief Suhr and the mayor.
It should also be noted that articles covering Batkid's rescues were written by seasoned reporters Clark Kent, Lois Lane, Perry White, and Brenda Starr.
Congratulations, Miles on a job well done!
