The actor's rep confirmed yesterday evening that the 'Fast & Furious' actor died yesterday afternoon following a fiery crash in Valencia, California stating, "It's with a heavy heart that we must confirm Paul Walker passed away today in a tragic car accident..."
Shortly after hosting a charity event for his organization Reach Out Worldwide, Paul and his friend race car driver, Roger Rodas went for a ride in a Porsche Carrera GT when the vehicle spun out of control, hitting a tree and electrical pole.
Authorities reported that the two men died on impact and that dental records may be needed to identify their remains.
Stunned by the news of Paul's passing, fellow 'Fast & Furious' co-stars Vin Diesel and Ludacris both sent out their condolences.

Vin posted a picture of himself and Paul on Instagram with the caption, "Brother I will miss you very much. I am absolutely speechless. Heaven has gained a new Angel. Rest in peace."
While co-star Ludacris said, "Your humble spirit was felt from the start, whenever you blessed your presence you always left a mark..."
Universal Studio's, the powerhouse behind the Furious franchise, released a brief statement mourning the loss of one of its members saying, "All of us at Universal are heartbroken. Paul was truly one of the most beloved and respected members of our studio family for 14 years, and this loss is devastating to us, to everyone involved with the 'Fast and Furious' films, and to countless fans. We send out deepest and most sincere condolences to Paul's family."
Paul was 40 years old and survived by his 15 year old daughter, Meadow.
